Afterguard has two cost saving membership options to chose from. You may appreciate being a member if you want to take more than one class, if you want to enrich new sailing skills learned in our sailing courses, if you rent (or plan to rent) boats once a month or more, or if you'd like to someday own a boat. You may also appreciate being a member if you'd like to help continue and extend the outreach of the Afterguard Foundation. The Foundation Youth programs uses sailing to inspire inner city youth to finish high school by providing practical application of physics, math and earth science. Our stuents have emerged with higher grades and our program has insentivized increased graduation rates. CHARTER CLUB MEMBER: Base price of $395 + $30/mo. As a charter member you recieve a 20% discount on course costs and a 40% discount off boat rentals. ACTIVE AFTERGUARD CLUB MEMBER: This membership has a one-year minimum with monthly payments of $155 to $325 depending on the size of the boat you'd expect to sail most often. Members have unlimited use of the boats in their size grouping and under upon commencement of membership pay first and 12th month's dues. For certified sailors, larger boats can be rented at a 40% discount. Please see our fleet page for boat groups and monthly prices. Additionally you will receive a 20% discount on course costs. *** TO PURCHASE memberships or classes, our current on-line method is through Paypal. Send Afterguard a payment using the email afterguard@earthlink.net. IF paying by Paypal, please visit our calendar then send payment with 3 preferential dates, ranked in order of preference. We will confirm with you within 2 business days. If you need a specific date, please confirm with us BEFORE you send payment to make a reservation. We can also accept multiple forms of payment at our Oakland office - cash, credit/debit cards and checks are all welcome. You may also call or email with credit/debit info. Checks are welcome by mail. *** We do not issue refunds - we will reschedule with 72 hr notice or rare weather safety delay.*** |
